Cannabis Careers 101 at Best Dispensary A Series Teaching People Practical Skills to Pay Their Bills When it comes to the cannabis industry people aren’t quite sure of what it takes to make it in this ever-evolving sector of the economy. Good thing that Cannabis Careers 101 took it upon themselves to help people with a smooth segue from their existing careers into the world of cannabis and not only that, but teaching them skills that will apply to any and every job industry out there. The event took place at the brand new, luxury Best Dispensary in Mesa, AZ and was equipped with speakers, workshop classes, mock-interviews, professional headshots, food, CBD refreshments, music, and access to industry professionals. First Annual Cannafest at DOMM.life 10/12/19
The First Annual Trap Culture, Arizona Cannafest 2019 When there is a niche for doing an event that is distinguishable and patient-centric, leave it up to the team over at Trap Culture to raise the bar when it comes to medical cannabis events here in the Valley of the Sun. We here at Weedly Phoenix were lucky enough to attend this new annual event and we couldn’t be more impressed by the final turn out. The event was held at DOMM.life and was able to fill half of the back parking lot with plenty of your favorite top of the line vendor brands, complete with dabs and swag. A full line up of some amazing DJs like R3ll, W.A.S.H., CoinFlip, Yules & Jur were bringing the beats on the ones and twos, and while it was hot outside in normal Phoenix fashion, the patients were being attended to with much needed bottles of water (compliments of the Marijuana Nurses) The lines flowed quickly and easily and allowed for everyone to get into the event without any hassles and that, in turn worked at the vendor booths and patients were able to get to talk to the teams manning […]

Weedly Phoenix On A Mini-Vacation at A Summer in Puradise at Wasted Grain in Scottsdale This is the type of event that you want to go to because it was filled with food, music, fun, giveaways, gifts, and your favorite Arizona cannabis brands. All with the intention to of nothing more than to throw an event for the sake of bringing people together! Our girl Beezy and the rest of the PuraEarth team were hosting the 600 event attendees along with the help of Big Day Enterprises and the Wasted Grain staff. The event hosted a medicated area which had attendants in line for access, but upon entrance we discovered that smoking was only allowed on the busses outside the venue 🙁 Baked Bros was there whipping up loads of chilled medicated lemonade which was a nice consolation because the weather that day was ridiculously hot and humid outside. MITA AZ July 17th at FOUND:RE Hotel 07/17/19 Addressing Importatnt Topics With Card Costs & Lab Testing For Patients The landscape of the Arizona Medical Marijuana program is having many changes happening within it and we had MITA AZ once again giving people the lowdown on the issues that matter to them and their future. They were discussing about how cards costs should be lowered (they just recently extended the expiration of the cards to two years) and about AZDHS enforcing testing for all products. Yes, these were indeed important and have been discussed among the community for a while and MITA AZ was just the place to talk about it in a more professional, knowledgeable environment that would allow patients to ask questions and for industry leaders to have answers to those. Kicking Back With The Ladies of Pink Kush at DOMM.life 06/21/19 Pink Kush is people, positivity, and pizzazz all rolled into one for a guaranteed night of fun. If you haven’t heard of Pink Kush and their events then you need to get on the ball and make sure that you’re apart of one of the best Arizona women’s cannabis networking events to see what all the hype is about. Concentrated Comedy Presented by GreenPharms at House of Comedy 04/17/19 When someone thinks of cannabis and its use, one is quick to imagine someone who is prone to laughter and so it would just make sense for David and the team over at GreenPharms Dispensary to have their concentrate company come up with a comedy event that would combine cannabis, comedy and community. Yes, this was all a perfect recipe for a first night of success as they launched their Concentrated Comedy event live at House of Comedy here in Phoenix, Arizona. The event was jam packed with vendors supplying medication and swag for patients, while House of Comedy supplied the food, CBD mock-tails and local comedy acts to keep the laughs coming and coming. They had promoted this event for a while and had a great headlining act for the people to enjoy when they were good and medicated. There was also a raffle at the end with the sponsors throwing in some tremendous prizes for the folks who purchased tickets and added even more incentive for them to come and attend this event. MITA AZ Marijuana Industry Trade Association March Meeting at the FOUND:RE Hotel March’s MITA meeting was one to not be missed and we’re thankful that we were able to catch all the action as there was some important topics being discussed, and a very noticeable energy in the air from the AZMMJ patients wanting to know how their lives would be effected by the up and coming ballot. As always, there was plenty of businesses there representing their claim in the industry and to ask the questions that they felt would pertain to their business and get answers from those writing the initiatives. Another point touched on was how Arizona has become a hotbed for corporate businesses coming to set up shop and call the Valley of the Sun their other home. Pink Kush Launch Event at Unexpected Art Gallery 01/30/19 Congratulations to the Pink Kush team on throwing an AMAZING launch event! It was a great success, and we’re extremely impressed by all the work and love that was put in to bring this to the Phoenix, Arizona cannabis community. There’s lots of cannabis events, and there’s a growing amount of women’s events that are up and coming, but there’s definitely only one Pink Kush. This was an event that women can come to have fun and be social with like-minded women through their love of weed, and if you weren’t able to make it out to this one, you really missed out on a spectacular time. MITA Marijuana Industry Trade Association January Meeting at the FOUND:RE Hotel This was our first time attending one of MITA AZ’s monthly networking meetings. These events are here to help bring about positive changes within the Phoenix cannabis industry. MITA provides an environment where businesses as well as patients and policy makers can interact with other each other as we create this wonderfully progressive Arizona cannabis community together. The event is relatively casual, and the energy is fantastic. There were a number of speakers discussing what’s important for the industry currently and for the future, giving everyone a chance to hear from decision makers about the cannabis we consume here in AZ. Sincerely Collins PuraEarth Meet & Greet at Urban Greenhouse Dispensary To be able to meet the one and only Sincerely Collins was an honor for sure and that’s just what Pura Earth and Urban Greenhouse Dispensary gave to the people of Phoenix. That and a special performance by the man himself that was full of energy and love for his hometown crowd. PuraEarth recently teamed up with Sincerely to bring you a limited edition vape cartridge that carries the moniker of Yap Yap. It’s the name of his current single on the radio, and is all about how you keep yourself HIGH above that lower energy and disregard those that “yap yap”. Perfect name for a song and cartridge. Urban Greenhouse is one of the premier dispensaries in the forefront of the Arizona Cannabis community, and we here at Weedly Phoenix were lucky enough to have gotten an invitation to the grow operation to see where the magic happens that not too many folks get to see for themselves.
